SnB The Happy Hooker
I decided to wait until the book hit the shelf before I posted this. The first 2 pics were taken by me just for a personal record. All three versions work for me. Let me just say congrats to everyone involved in the book. My daughter is going to enjoy this book, I am going to give her one of the copies. I have yet to read it, I just skimmed through it for now. Just so you know I couldn't wait for my contributors copy to arrive so I went out and bought one. :) It was nice to see 'La Vonne' in the name, publisher usually cut that out. Thanks Debbie! The Short and Sweet design started out like this:

Then it became this:

And finally this:

Hey Dina, how ya doin'? Thank you, thank you. I answer to either name. My mother calls me La Vonne, so this one's for her. The one you tested for me is going to hit the book stands anytime now too.

That's a great pattern! I bet it would be great as a knee-length (duster?), too!

Thank you. I think you're right, you would basically just keep going with the length. As with most of my patterns, this is worked from the top down.

Very nice, Angela! I think I like the first one the best because of it's unique lines. But, it's "incarnation" is great too!

Hey Lady Croshay, thank you. I was at a SnB this evening and we were wondering if the eye candy that was wearing your design comes with the pattern if we order from you. :)

I love your pattern, now I want the book! But does your pattern come in larger sizes? As pictured it just would not fit!

In the book the finished size goes up to 54". Hope that helps.

I can't wait to make it. I also love the fact that it goes up in size. Most times I when I see patterns that I like they only go up to a large. Keep up the great work!!!

I'm recovering from surgery. I gave my husband a list of two titles to buy for me at the bookstore. One was the Happy Hooker. I love the entire book. I have to admit I'm surprised at how many nice patterns it has. Anyhow, I love your Short n Sweet design! Just stumbled on your blog. Cheers, -Pat

Hey, I love your pattern-- I bought the book and it is one of the first things I wanted to make! I'm into the section on the Left and Right front, and I'm a little confused so I thought you might be able to help--

What is going on in Row 8 of the right and left front? I'm not sure when to attach a seperate strand in row 8 or what that means.. Whatever I'm doing wrong in row 8 is probably where my problems with row 9 come from...

This is my first time making anything that isn't a rectangle so I could use any advice you have! Thanks!!
